This is Tita Lala and Lizzie, unfortunately something bit her eye but she still remains the cutie little muffin she is. When your kid is a bit grown up you’ll love her more each day but still you kinda miss the good stuff of having a baby lol. Their eyes light up at the simplest of things, their chuckles fascinate you in words you can’t explain, you watch them try their best to walk and wobble. They’re the cutest. And no matter how tired you are it seems like your tiredness magically disappears. Babies, they’re magical. Do you remember the first time when you saw your baby smile? *)

Realize how lucky you are to be breathing, walking, seeing everything around you. People wallow in negativity, constant bashing, finding faults like its a contest. Ignore those people, better yet love them because they are lacking something within themselves and they need love so much more than you do. So for you my friend, be grateful because better things will come your way and I will always be here for you.

A Father’s Day Gift

I’m thinking of what to give to the hubby since he lovingly gave me a beautiful gift for Mother’s day. I’m thinking on the lines of those Michael Kelly Guitars since he really loves the acoustic sound of it. He says the workmanship and the die cast tuners are to die for. The cost is exactly the same lol. So it’d be totally just gonna stay in his wish list.

Giving up everyday Coffee

I used to drink 2-3 cups of coffee in a day. I wake up and say I need coffee. Midday I feel sleepy, I need coffee. I take a break from work, I need coffee. Although coffee does taste good. I found out like any other bad habit, It’s mind over matter. I read somewhere that you just condition your mind to crave for coffee even though you don’t really need it. Months into going coffee crazy I felt tired even if I have just woken up. I feel stomach pain, pain in the right side of my stomach that went away after I started letting coffee go.

Coffee both contains acid and creates acid. There’s the amount of acid in the brew itself, but there’s also the acid your stomach produces as a result of drinking the coffee. In the latter case, caffeine is a culprit, as it makes your stomach generate more acid. But other components of coffee also stimulate stomach acid. People who suffer from acid reflux, a condition in which stomach contents seep up the esophagus, may want to reconsider drinking coffee at all.

I replaced coffee with water. Two glasses of water a day after waking up that revitalizes the organs. I started with missing a day then taking coffee the next day until I forget I needed or wanted it in the first place. Day by day I just started to let it go. It’s not as easy as flicking off pneumatic switches but I got around to it. Oh I’m not a hypocrite I won’t totally avoid coffee because it does have its benefits but waking up craving for coffee is a thing of the past. It would be a once a month thing if I was offered. I don’t really need it, my body does not agree with it plus it’s nice to let go of the extra calories. That’s how I did it. 8)

What happens when you stop exercising

The fact is if you stop working out even for a couple of weeks. It’s going to blow you back to humpty dumpty mode especially if you go on a summer eating frenzy, gorging in tubs and tubs of Ice Cream. Translating into barrells of fats that would show up in your waist,your cheeks, (although you look probably totally cute) arms and other freakishly hidden places. So you know make it a habit. Think of it like those couples promise rings Maintain even if you eat healthy you still got to keep those muscles in place or build new ones.

Unfortunately I already grew up lol. I do however have heard of the fantastic ways to improve one’s voice when you feel like being a recording star. Apart from a quality microphone you need a zoom r16. A recording equipment like this could probably make any American Idol wanna be a bonafide star, well almost at least. I did not end up a singer but I did end up with a daughter who likes singing. Hmmm.. the potential ha ha. I guess everybody wants to be a recording star and if you haven’t admitted it you are lying to youself. I just need to get the right recorder and I know it I’m going to be a Singing sensation. (yes, me delusional)

Acacia Hotel

The lobby of Acacia hotel is a contrasting sight of black, white and pure elegance. You can sit there reading from your cigar magazine subscription or the Skinny Bitch and still feel relaxed. I had nice memories of our short stay simply because of the friendly service mostly plus the cleanliness and design of the hotel. I hope we can get to stay there again for our anniversary.
