>Residence Inn Tagaytay

>

Finally got to use the Buyanihan coupon worth around 1,100 pesos for a 3thou plus original rate at Residence Inn Tagaytay.

The inn was quite far though. It was like ten minutes away from Leslie’s Starbucks and all that. It’s just before you enter Batangas literally. So if you are going to take a bus, you need to ride an Alfonso bus or Nasugbu. I thought we were going to get lost but they do have a big sign on the left side of the highway.
Check in was a breeze, we did reserve prior. They just glanced at the voucher and we were given the key.
It was a big room although it smells a little old.

There was a heater in the bathroom and it works you just need to plug it in. The ac and fridge needs to be replaced.
My daughter loved the place though, she really enjoyed her stay

We had our lunch there and bought Kare Kare and rice. Kare Kare was okay, the bagoong was good though. The server seemed bored, there were not much people that day.  You get a fantastic view while eating which the brat enjoyed. You could also pay 100 to enjoy the zipline.

After eating we went around the mini zoo it’s just besides the restaurant. There were birds, monkeys, lions (that stay in one place) etc. The playground was being repaired.

In the morning, you can see the smile on the little one. She really likes it there.

Above is the steps leading to the room which was funnily named D-Baibi. I don’t know what that means.
We did have a good breakfast, food was again so, so but you know it was a fun time for the family.

Wish we can wake up to the sun, clouds and nature every morning. 8)

>Remembering When I loved in Rome

>Because it’s 2:40 in the morning.
I am going crazy, I mean I’m getting old
I remembered going to Rome with the man who loved me a lot.
It was a memorable trip, getting ready, saving up
Staying at the Hilton and enjoying breakfast in bed
seeing the Vatican, riding a scooter, eating pizza and pasta, feeding pigeons
getting lost..loving the adventure

Seeing the Trevi Fountain..which is just something you cannot forget.
They say if you throw a coin in the fountain, the two of you can go back to Rome together again.

Walking down the Spanish Steps, taking pictures under the Roman Sun

Making a fool of himself going up and seeing if I can still see him if he waves at me…while I wait beside a horse drawn carriage

Sadly, I will never be able to go back there…
Sadly, I will never be able to hold his hand again..
In my dreams..that’s only when we can be together..

May you be happy wherever you are..Watching over me from above
I knew that it was not time for you to go..I knew you tried to hold on
I know one day..we can be together in Rome again…somehow..

P.S.
I didn’t say I wanna join you now..Wait for me..my time will come 8))

Normal People Stay away!! Not for the faint hearted!!

So alrighty, since you still want to stay. This is a pic of my hubby’s er thingie. It’s a wonder I’m still alive LMAO, No really truth is, this is what happened to that giant in the Jack and the Beanstalk story,he ended up famous, well part of him at least. This is a photo of me during my trip to Amsterdam (with my favorite US Air Force family) This was taken in a Sex Museum. You see all sorts of ahh sexual art from the past..that means from the time of the apes to the present, the time of the perverts ha ha. Amsterdam is just so freakin cool. I would live there. You get to take drug induced brownies, ogle sexy women behind glass doors. ( yup i have tendencies) Knock yourself out with booze, drugs, uhm unique acts. I’m sure it has a lot more to offer but i would say these are what makes it so fun to visit. After all the forbidden things are the best things, Don’t you agree?

>Alone in Thailand

>

DISCLAIMER : This is a lengthy post about a travel a long time ago so go away i might bore you to tears.

I went on a trip alone to Thailand, yes i know. Sounds a bit like a hermit doesnt it. But i had to get away from my crazy world. So after i sorted it all out, i thought of going on a vacation. I went to PattayaThailand, its inexpensive, its near. I liked the idea. It is one of the best travels i did probably because I mostly talked to myself and its hard to argue with me, I always win. Well, It was hit and miss at the hotels i stayed at. One hotel i stayed at thought having mosquitoes was part of the attractions. But there are a few places i would remember for the rest of my uneventful life.

I went to Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. One minute you’re in the middle of nowhere. The next I see a beautiful place filled with beautiful flowers and shrubs. Its like being lost in Paradise, I was sort of expecting Adam and Eve to appear from behind a tree. Ahh..that’s an exaggeration, it’s a gardeners dream anyhow. With clay pots made into tricycles, flowers of different nationalities, a garden from another world.. it was refreshing. But not only that, they have this airy coliseum where i watched a kickboxing match, a thailand cultural dance, an elephant show. There were even people who agreed to have their body stepped over by an elephant. I wonder where they get the courage, one second and they could have been elephant footprints. It was such an amazing place, i do wonder why it is not really that popular in the travel world.

Night came and i was looking for a place to eat and i heard about this Restaurant called PIC Kitchen that is popular but hard to find because its not in the main area. I proved that to be correct because i got lost for about 30 minutes walking until somebody told me where to go. It was a secluded area but oh so romantic. I had to indian sit on the pillows placed upon a teak wood floor, the server was fantastically polite. He was probably wondering if i am crazy eating alone and wasting the ambiance. Everybody else were dining with groups or with someone but I did not regret going there because the Pad Thai was just out of this world. I eat pad thai in Thai restaurants here but this one. It makes me forget im married. The noodles were soft, the sweetness and spice are just enough with a hint of a secret herb there that makes me crave more.

The other place i went to is called the Sanctuary of Truth. Their brochure said it was the Magnificence of Heaven recreated on earth. It was built years and years ago and is located in Pattaya. At first i thought to myself what the heck i was doing there looking at the decrepit entrance. I wanted to leave but i am part of a tour group. I was thinking of stealing the van, but on second thought i didnt know how to drive. So i went in and i had to say W O W. I get to see this castle made of wood with images of Gods and Goddesses. It was such an Amazing sight. It was astounding. Its like being in a movie you dont want to end. This castle was standing beside the vast blue sea, towering in its state of ancient spirituality. I was given a hard hat to wear while inside the place. There was a tour guide who took me around the place explained to me the figures outside and inside the palace. The Carvings are just incredible, it is hard to put it into words. With the soft breeze on the place, the sun shining, the sea glinting like diamonds. I was overwhelmed by the feeling of being alive. I remember how lucky i am to be able to see such ancient beauty. The best part of this place is they have a dolphin show. I went to dolphin shows in the past but this was different because maybe because i was on my own and i was totally depressed. The tourists are allowed to touch and swim with the dolphins. I only touched them, i couldnt swim because i might have to wear a bathing suit and scare the dolphins away. But when i touched one, it might sound funny but i felt a sense of peace coming over me. A feeling of everything is going to be okay. Im not exaggerating, it felt fantastic. I felt lighter. I dont know what they feed their dolphins but whatever it was it could save people a lot of therapy bills. I experienced a different Thailand. Something that did not have anything to do with shopping and going bar hopping. It was such a revelation. I suggest other people do this. Travel alone and find one self. If you cant do it, get me to travel with you so i can again bore you to death.
