>Pounds off for a Laptop (entry 5)

>So I’m panic buying health books lately. It helps me stay focused. I just finished Dr. Phil’s Ultimate Weight Solution. It was pretty good. It seems like he was really talking to me you know. It’s also good for reread and some good points. My favorite was:

If you don’t have time for exercise. you probably have time then for heart disease, diabetes, etc…

or something of the sort. I also bought Oprah’s book and The Strong woman’s guide to Total Health.

I’m learning as I’m trying to lose and I am discovering more about what works. Pretty cool.

>Pounds off for a Laptop Entry 4

>It’s my 9th day on this project. You might think it’s easy but it was not the first time I started. So now I only eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Weight is still the same but I do think I’m not that bloated. However I did have a pregnancy scare yesterday. I thought I missed my period and scared my husband to death because we’re not planning to have another baby. All I was thinking was I had to give up my diet which I worked so hard on now for a few days. Fortunately, it was a false alarm. Got a negative. 8)

>Pounds off for a Laptop Entry 3

>Yesterday I asked hubby to buy me a bag of potato chips. He said no, “you can’t have potato chips!” I said If I can have potato chips today I would not touch chocolates tomorrow. ( which is today) So he did buy me the chips in exchange for the “chocolate ceasefire” So now I really have lost interest in chocolates because I resolved that I will not eat one even if hubby and the little cupcake are drowning in Twix and M&M’s. All these for good health and a laptop.

>Pounds Off for A Laptop (entry 2)

>I just got two friends to work with me on losing ten pounds by April 1. The first one, let’s call her Flipflops has started a week before me. The other one, let’s call her Zee, said she needs a week more because she had to finish the box of brownies I did not get. So I’m giving her till April 7. Wish us success!!!

>Pounds off for a Laptop Project (entry 1)

>Since February 12, 2011 I started my Back to Fitness goal.
My nearest goal target is 10 lbs in 2 months.
I will try to post an entry at least once a week to inform you of my progress and bore you to death with my quest to lose weight. (for the millionth time try, don’t you laugh you lucky thin person you)
I was going through the first entries of this blog when I was so hyped up on losing weight. I did lose weight because I started at 180 lbs. Lost and then gained some of it back. Now I am blogging about it so it will inspire me to really work on my goal plus I told the hubby that If I lost 30 lbs he would have to buy me a new phone or a laptop.
I think that’s enough motivation right?
So these are what I have been doing.

1. No rice
2. 30 minutes workout a day, plan to do it 6x a week. I use Hip hop abs most of the time but I do have other videos and will buy a new one probably today.
3. No junk food ( goodbye potato chips, I am saddened by this and will mourn your loss till this all ends)
4. Reading a book “The Ultimate Weight Solution” by Dr. Phil. I don’t care if you don’t like him, I like the book
5. Joined My Fitness pal, fun fun
6. Made hubby my Checkpoint guy. I report to him daily if I’ve been a good girl and exercised.
7. Will blog about the journey ( Arnel Pineda, you’re the man)
8. Will avoid going out for a while except for trips with the family. (same eating rules apply when going out)
9. I just measured my waistline, hips etc and found out I need to lose half the weight of Justin Bieber. So I need to lose half of the Bieber.
10.I am telling my family about this so I can really go through it.

I’m doing all of these because of the lap…I mean myself. There. Stay tuned.

>My Fitness Pal

>

I started (yet again) on a fitness goal for this year and that’s 10 lbs or more by April. ( I want more but I want to be lower my expectations) I know, I know. I’ve said this before but this time I want to be dead serious. ( or end up dead) So just to tell you what I’ve been doing (Not that I think that you’d be interested but since you got on this page, humor me) I joined My Fitness Pal I saw it on Digital Filipino’s Facebook page about an article of a guy losing weight using weight loss apps. Now I got curious because since I started again, it must be a good move to join an online club where you all rant about how fa..err chubby you’ve become, diets and exercises that you did without boring other people. It is actually kind of really cool. It has a Facebook like page where you can post your status, where you can input what you eat and get the calories. An exercise log book which tells you how many calories you’ve burned. In fact you can even blog about your progress. Logging in what you ate for the day can be good because then you feel really good if you’re below your calorie target to lose weight. It even gives you an approximate on how much you’ll weight after 5 weeks. On my first day there I already got a lot of friends. So we’re all there to support each other. ( Us, weight challenged people) Good start for mommyme. 8)

>Detoxification

>One of the major problems today is applying for a job and being in fear of not passing the drug test. How to pass a Drug Test? This is actually being required in major corporations worldwide. Fortunately Detoxification can be done, these are products that are safe, legal and easy to use that could quickly cleanse your system. Isn’t that just amazing news?

>Leisure 18 Side Effects

>

I have posted about my Leisure 18 experience on another blog post ( Leisure 18)I got a comment from the You say Too network about somebody who has tried the coffee. Now I am unsure how true this is since she was just a guest on the site. I do not know if she has bought a real or a fake one. I do know that there are fake ones out there. However since she had such an extreme reaction to the slimming coffee I might as well post it so other people would know. It was very disturbing and she did make valid points. I did try Leisure 18 again because I stopped exercising the past month. ( Yeah I know very predictable of me, now restarting everything) but I stopped in December after a couple of days because I always felt really thirsty and had trouble breathing right. The company who has said to have made this coffee is America Kangshi Lainuo International Medical Research, which if you go and google would not pop up in search results. So read below the comment and judge for yourself.

LEISURE 18. NOT SAFE.Hello! I tried Leisure 18 Slimming coffee last year. I was able to stay on it for 3 days. I experienced the usual side effects, first, of thirst, then came the palpitations. I did notice some positive changes on Day 2. However, on Day 4, I did my thing in the toilet and when I stood up – IN THE BOWL, I COULD SEE NOTHING BUT BLOOD. THIS IS NOT A JOKE AND I DO NOT AIM TO DESTROY ANYONE’S BUSINESS BUT IF I CAN SAVE THE LIFE OF ANYONE OUT THERE BY MEANS OF THIS COMMENT, I’D SAY THIS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Maybe it is good for others, but in my case, I would not say so. The risk is just too great for me to sacrifice for the sake of what? Vanity? Looking good? Revenge for an ex? Not even health reasons, for sure. THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR ME AND MAYBE NOT GOOD FOR MANY OTHERS OUT THERE, TOO. THIS HAS NOT BEEN TESTED, NOT BFAD-APPROVED. IT MIGHT EVEN SOON COME OUT IN THE NEWS THAT IT IS BANNED – I WOULDN’T BE SURPRISED. Just be vigilant, people, and always equate the risks with what you might deem to be benefits.

>Marty’s Vegetarian Chicharon

>Have you tried that new junk food that’s supposed to be a vegetarian chicharon?
